Instructions
Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and sugar until well combined.
Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half to create two pieces from each roll.
Dip each piece of the Hawaiian roll into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated but not soaking.
Melt a small amount of butter in the preheated skillet.
Place the dipped Hawaiian roll pieces onto the skillet, cooking in batches if necessary, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Repeat the process, adding more butter as needed, until all pieces are cooked.
Serve warm with maple syrup drizzled on top and a dusting of powdered sugar, if desired.
Notes
For a richer flavor, consider adding a pinch of nutmeg to the egg mixture.
