Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a small bowl, toss the cubed bread with 3 tablespoons olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt. Spread the bread cubes onto a baking tray in a single layer.
  • Bake the bread cubes for 10-12 minutes, tossing halfway through, until golden and crispy. Remove and let cool to form croutons.
  • Season the chicken breasts with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken for 5-6 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing into thin strips.
  • In a large salad bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce, Parmesan cheese, and homemade croutons.
  • Drizzle Caesar dressing over the salad and toss gently to evenly coat the ingredients.
  • Top the salad with the sliced chicken breast.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy your Best Chicken Caesar Salad with Homemade Croutons!

Notes

For best results, use day-old bread for croutons and ensure the chicken is cooked to the correct internal temperature.
