Instructions
In a medium-sized bowl or jar, combine the balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, and honey (if using).
Whisk or stir vigorously until the mustard and honey are fully incorporated into the vinegar.
Slowly drizzle the olive oil while whisking continuously to create an emulsified mixture.
Add the minced garlic, salt, and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
Taste the vinaigrette and adjust salt, pepper, or honey as needed.
If using a jar, secure the lid and shake well to combine. Serve immediately or refrigerate for later use.
Notes
For a tangier flavor, increase the balsamic vinegar slightly. Store in the refrigerator for up to one week.
