Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup jelly grape, raspberry, or peach
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar optional
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a medium saucepan, combine jelly, ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Add smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Stir until smooth.
  • Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle boil, stirring occasionally.
  • Reduce heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring frequently, until it thickens.
  • Taste and adjust salt, pepper, or additional seasonings as needed.
  • Let the sauce cool before using it as a glaze, marinade, or dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Use grape jelly for a classic flavor, or experiment with raspberry or peach for a unique twist.
  • For a smoky flavor, add a few drops of liquid smoke.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
