Patriotic Oreo Balls Recipe

These festive Oreo balls are a delicious treat perfect for any patriotic celebration. Coated in white chocolate and decorated with red, white, and blue, they are sure to impress!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package Oreo cookies 15.5 oz
  • 1 package cream cheese 8 oz, softened
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup red candy melts
  • 1/2 cup blue candy melts
  • Sprinkles red, white, and blue for decoration

Instructions
 

  • Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
  • In a large bowl, mix the crushed Oreo cookies with the softened cream cheese until well combined.
  • Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Refrigerate the balls for about 30 minutes to firm up.
  • Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
  • Dip each Oreo ball into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it's fully coated, then return to the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Melt the red and blue candy melts according to package instructions and drizzle over the white chocolate-coated Oreo balls.
  • Sprinkle with red, white, and blue sprinkles for decoration.
  • Refrigerate again for about 15 minutes to set the chocolate before serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure the cream cheese is fully softened before mixing.
