Ingredients
4
fillet
white fish
such as cod, tilapia, or haddock
2
tbsp
olive oil
1
tsp
garlic powder
1
tsp
smoked paprika
1/2
tsp
dried oregano
1/2
tsp
salt
1/4
tsp
black pepper
1
lemon
sliced into wedges
fresh parsley
optional, chopped for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.
Pat the fish fillets dry with a paper towel and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper to create a seasoning blend.
Brush the seasoning blend evenly over the fish fillets, ensuring each fillet is well-coated.
Bake the fish in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fillets are opaque and flake easily with a fork.
Remove the fish from the oven and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the top.
Optional: Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley over the fish before serving for added color and flavor.
Notes
For best results, use fresh fish fillets and adjust seasoning to taste. Pair with a side of roasted vegetables or a fresh salad.
