Transfer the chicken mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
In a separate small bowl, mix the crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter until the crumbs are well coated.
Sprinkle the buttered cracker crumbs evenly over the chicken mixture in the baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbling and the cracker topping is golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
You can substitute Ritz crackers with any halal buttery crackers. Adjust seasoning to taste.
