Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon or spatula. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the turkey is browned and cooked through.
  • Push the turkey to one side of the skillet and add the minced garlic to the empty space. Cook for 30 seconds, stirring, until fragrant.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ground black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  • Pour the honey garlic sauce over the cooked turkey and stir to coat evenly. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
  • Remove the skillet from heat and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.
  • Serve immediately over rice, noodles, or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a splash of lime juice or sprinkle crushed peanuts on top. Adjust the red pepper flakes to your preferred spice level.
