1/4cupcrushed nutse.g. almonds, pistachios, or walnuts
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, whisk the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Set the whipped cream aside.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips, peanut butter (if using), and milk together in 30-second increments, stirring until smooth. Let the mixture cool slightly.
Layer the dessert in a large serving bowl: start by spreading a thin layer of whipped cream at the bottom.
Add a layer of shortbread cookies or tea biscuits, breaking them into smaller pieces if needed to fit the bowl.
Drizzle a portion of the melted chocolate mixture over the cookies, followed by a layer of sliced strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries.
Repeat the layering process (whipped cream, cookies, chocolate drizzle, fruits) until the bowl is filled or the ingredients are used up, ending with a layer of whipped cream on top.
Garnish the top with crushed nuts and a few whole berries for decoration.
Chill the dessert in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow the layers to set and the flavors to meld together.
Serve cold and enjoy this no-bake dessert dream come true!
Notes
You can substitute the fruits with your favorites or use dairy-free whipped cream for a vegan option.
