  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a small baking dish.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, ground cinnamon, and 1 teaspoon of maple syrup (if using). Toss to coat evenly.
  • Spread the apple mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the rolled oats, almond flour, chopped nuts, melted coconut oil, honey or maple syrup, and a pinch of salt. Stir until the mixture forms a crumbly texture.
  • Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the apples.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

You can substitute the nuts with seeds for a nut-free version. Serve with yogurt or a drizzle of additional maple syrup for extra flavor.
