Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a small baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, ground cinnamon, and 1 teaspoon of maple syrup (if using). Toss to coat evenly.
Spread the apple mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
In a separate bowl, mix the rolled oats, almond flour, chopped nuts, melted coconut oil, honey or maple syrup, and a pinch of salt. Stir until the mixture forms a crumbly texture.
Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the apples.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
You can substitute the nuts with seeds for a nut-free version. Serve with yogurt or a drizzle of additional maple syrup for extra flavor.
