Grilled Steak with Garlic Herb Butter

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ribeye steaks (about 1 inch thick)
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 4 tablespoon unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the grill to high heat.
  • In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, rosemary, and thyme. Mix well and set aside.
  • Rub the steaks with olive oil and season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Place the steaks on the hot grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes for medium-rare, flipping halfway through.
  • Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  • Top each steak with a generous dollop of garlic herb butter before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the garlic herb butter sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before using.
